A Bit About Me
Growing up, Jack developed a strong interest in sports, participating in competitive swimming, golf, rugby, and other athletic pursuits. He began weight training at age 16, which sparked a deeper interest in human movement and led him to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at UBC, with a minor in Nutritional Sciences.
His studies focused on neuroanatomy and physiology, motor learning and behaviour, nutrition, and exercise science, providing a strong foundation in understanding how the body's systems work together.
Jack began personal training in 2017 and quickly developed a passion for helping individuals unlock their potential and achieve their goals. Whether the focus is body composition, muscle gain, rehabilitation, athletic performance, or powerlifting, he is committed to helping clients become a stronger, healthier, and more confident version of themselves.
Through years of coaching, Jack recognized the value of having a supportive training environment where people of all experience levels could learn, grow, and pursue their goals together. This vision ultimately inspired him to co-found Strength Lab. Creating a community-focused space dedicated to evidence-based coaching, high-quality training, and helping members build strength both inside and outside the gym.
